How silent disco offers a safer, chiller alternative at ACL

It’s 7:50 p.m. at the Tito’s Tent at Austin City Limits Music Festival and a line almost a quarter-mile long creeps through Zilker Park.

In Late 2011 on a cruise to the Bermuda William Petz (our CEO), known as “Will” experienced a “Silent Disco” as one of the late night activities on the ship. This party was much different than the parties Quiet Events hosts today, just two channels and no LED lights. It was silly, it was weird, but he had so much fun that he wanted to do it again with his friends back home.
Upon arriving back to New York, he realized that no one was throwing these types of parties and that’s when Quiet Events Inc. was born.
In 2012 with 350 brand new, 3-channel LED style headphones, the 1st “Quiet Clubbing” party drew out almost 200 people. It however took almost an hour before anyone danced on the dance floor. Fast forward to 2017, Quiet Events Inc. has offices all over North America with over 20,000 headphones. Parties now have lines waiting to get in and dance. Many Friday nights draw out over 2,000 party goers in NYC.
